Supporting the underwriting department in daily operations, the full-time Regional Underwriting Manager will provide coaching and training to Underwriters, manage loan pipelines, and assist with special projects in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Underwriters on processes and guidelines
Serve as the primary point of contact for Underwriter questions and clarifications
Manage loan pipelines to ensure adherence to service level agreements
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications required; USDA experience is a plus
5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with agency guideline knowledge
5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience
Experience with Encompass LOS and knowledge of ATR/QM requirements
