Product Marketing Lead, Startups

For our client, we are seeking a Product Marketing Lead Startups to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape brand and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen market presence and business impact. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $248,600 – $279,675 annually

Responsibilities

Research and understand the founder and startup persona

Own the startup narrative and positioning for the company

Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the startup segment

Lead full-funnel marketing campaigns and product launches

Create marketing and sales assets in collaboration with Brand and Design teams

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Utilize data to optimize strategies and achieve business goals

Qualifications

10+ years in product marketing or growth marketing at a B2B SaaS company

3+ years leading teams or cross-functional initiatives

Deep empathy for startup and founder challenges

Proven ability to craft customer-centric narratives

Expertise in market segmentation and customer journey mapping

Strong storytelling skills across multiple formats and channels

Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and content creation
