For our client, we are seeking a Managing Director NY Studio to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Real Estate & Construction environment.


Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available


Compensation: $215,000 – $250,000 annually


Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop high‑performing teams in the New York studio

  • Create and implement strategic plans for resource allocation and client acquisition

  • Act as a market ambassador to enhance the company’s visibility in New York

  • Collaborate with leadership to align local operations with global objectives

  • Cultivate strategic relationships to secure repeat business and expand portfolios

  • Drive business growth through identification of new opportunities

  • Ensure effective risk management and compliance with local regulations


Qualifications



  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in the architecture or design industry

  • Demonstrated success in building high‑performing teams

  • Strong ability to manage client relationships and network effectively

  • Expertise in strategic planning and problem‑solving within business contexts

  • Proficient in financial oversight and revenue tracking

  • Extensive knowledge of New York market trends and regulations

  • Experience with contract negotiations and pitching to a diverse client base
