Ladders is hiring: Producer in New York

For our client, we are seeking a Producer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This remote opportunity is focused on driving new business growth within life sciences, with an emphasis on building a strong pipeline and winning accounts in a highly specialized insurance environment. The role combines prospecting, relationship development, and consultative selling to support expansion of an existing book of business. You will work closely with internal service teams and external carrier partners to deliver tailored coverage solutions and help protect clients against complex risks.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $150,000 – $400,000 annually
Responsibilities

Identify and close new business in the life sciences sector
Develop and execute a targeted prospecting strategy
Prepare and deliver proposals addressing complex coverage needs
Maintain and grow an assigned book of life sciences business
Coordinate with internal teams to service client accounts
Conduct account reviews to identify coverage gaps and retention risks
Build and maintain relationships with carrier partners and industry contacts
Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty producer license in Pennsylvania, or ability to obtain
Proven track record in new business production within life sciences or specialty insurance
Established network of referral sources and carrier relationships in life sciences
Strong knowledge of relevant coverage lines like product liability and clinical trials liability
Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, CRM, or equivalent preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations
