Public Relations Intern, St. Louis

Position Overview
FleishmanHillard is a global integrated communications agency. We are looking for Public Relations Interns to join our St. Louis team in our global headquarters office.

Position: Public Relations intern

Timing: This full‑time paid internship is 40 hours per week and runs late August 2026 – late November 2026, with the potential to be extended.

Location: St. Louis

Deadline for submissions: July 17, 2026

Scope: This internship offers a hybrid work experience (remote and in‑office). Candidates are required to work onsite in our St. Louis office at least three days a week.

Interns play an integral role within account teams where they provide strategic support and develop critical skills that are foundational to a career in public relations. Example responsibilities include conducting research and analysis, developing written materials (social content, news releases, messaging, etc.), managing social media and paid digital campaigns, building relationships with journalists, identifying influencers and stakeholders, vetting external engagement opportunities, supporting crisis planning, tracking and analyzing results, and other account‑related activities.

Qualified Candidates
Qualified candidates will have at least a 3.0 GPA, previous relevant internship experience, and have completed their junior year of college. Recent graduates are preferred. This full‑time internship runs throughout the academic calendar; we cannot accommodate class schedules. Basic requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills, an innate curiosity, strong time management, a desire to learn in a fast‑paced environment, and a commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and ability to work as part of a team.

Benefits
Salary: $18–$19.23 per hour.
