As our Senior Process Excellence Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and upholding ENGIE's Procurement Governance and Compliance standards across all Business Units. In this role, you will support Business Units and Procurement teams by providing essential tools, training, and guidance, while fostering alignment with the Group Procurement organization. You will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to enforce accountability, champion and support a culture of compliance, risk mitigation, and corporate accountability at various levels of the Procurement, promote best practices, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the region. This position is based in our Houston, TX office and reports directly to the North America Procurement Excellence Director.

Governance & Compliance
Develop, maintain, and enhance procurement internal controls—including policies, integration frameworks, and processes—to ensure strong governance, compliance, and continuous improvement. This includes supporting documentation for Group supplier assessments as well as sustainability and decarbonization initiatives aligned with Group direction.

Compliance Monitoring
Monitor compliance across all procurement activities, providing guidance and recommendations to team members and stakeholders on governance issues to reduce risk and improve operational performance.

Process & Tool Integration
Lead the development, enhancement, and integration of end‑to‑end procurement tools and processes (e.g., supplier assessments, data collection of spending and analysis, data quality of our reports and database, Procurement processes, systems support such as GET implementation, U‑Save, Coupa, etc.).

Training & Enablement
Create training materials and deliver learning sessions to educate business partners and Procurement teams on procurement requirements, tools, systems, and best practices.

Performance & Continuous Improvement
Drive initiatives that promote preventive and proactive actions to meet KPIs, increase efficiency, and improve the overall procurement experience for users and internal teams.

Data & Reporting
Coordinate sustainability, decarbonization, and spend reporting for Group requirements, ensuring accurate, transparent data with clear visibility for Sourcing teams and the CPO. Maintain and improve local databases to support informed decision‑making.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree with courses in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field

Minimum of five (5) years of Procurement experience, including Strategic Sourcing, Operational Efficiency, or Risk Management

Proven ability to lead and drive changes within an organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, relationship management, and effective communication with diverse functional teams and Procurement colleagues

Proficient written and verbal communication skills for a global business environment

Deep understanding of Procurement governance and processes, with excellent time‑management skills to handle multiple priorities

Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint; experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or Maximo is advantageous

Eligibility for hybrid work policy; minimum of three days working in the office per week

Availability to travel domestically up to 5% of the time

Willingness and ability to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation
Salary Range: $77,100 - $118,220 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary based on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

This position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
