Promotions Assistant (On Call)

Bonneville Sacramento is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the promotions team.

Position Overview
Represent our radio station brands at events, support promotion departments on remote events, special projects, and assignments. May include occasional in‑office tasks such as sales and programming promotions, contest fulfillment, and other special projects.

What You Will Do

Provide event prep, set‑up, staffing, and tear‑down at station events and remote broadcasts while engaging brand audiences, clients, and hosts.

Drive station vehicles.

Post to digital platforms/social media as needed.

Perform general in‑office duties such as data entry, front desk coverage, in‑house promotions and marketing.

Prepare signage, promotions, and giveaways for events, clients, and partners.

Assist with event recaps and contest fulfillment, including calling prize winners.

Maintain vehicles, banners, equipment, and all promotional assets.

Support logistics, setup, and takedown for remote and station events.

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Bonneville brands and apply that knowledge during events and interactions with listeners.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For

Available for weekday, weeknight, weekend, holiday, and night shifts.

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Self‑starter who works well under pressure and meets deadlines.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with limited supervision.

Problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Team player who works effectively in a collaborative environment.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to drive station vehicles.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Reliable, responsible, and dependable with punctuality.

Experience with photo and video editing software is a plus.

Experience with WordPress is a plus.

Physical Demands

Process information via oral and written communication.

Perform substantial wrist, hand, and finger movements.

Extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good coordination.

Walk or stand for periods while assisting at off‑site events.

Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds consistently; up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Set up a 10x10 tent independently.

Work flexibly outdoors in any condition at festivals, local businesses, etc.

Compensation Range
$20.40–$21.00 per hour, based on evaluation of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
