Our client is an independent full-service agency based in NYC. We're looking for a hands-on Media Director to lead integrated paid media campaigns (search + social) from strategy through execution. This role is ideal for someone who’s still close to the platforms, enjoys building, and brings both strategic thinking and client presence. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have a direct impact on team structure and agency growth.
*Note: this is a hybrid role based out of their NYC office 3 days per week.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of integrated paid media campaigns across digital channels.
- Manage campaign performance across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other paid media platforms.
- Present campaign strategy, performance insights, and recommendations to client stakeholders and executives.
- Oversee multiple client accounts simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met.
- Mentor and manage junior team members while collaborating with executive leadership.
- Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing trends, platforms, and best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid digital campaigns.
- Deep expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager. Experience with TikTok, Snapchat, and Reddit Ads is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), and other reporting and visualization tools.
- Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients in a fast-paced agency or client services environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign data into actionable insights and executive-level presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Agency experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in Higher Education marketing or traditional media is a plus but not required.
