Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Product Specialist – Civil 3D to support multiple sites in Orlando, FL; Atlanta, GA; Austin, TX; and other national locations. The role is dynamic and focuses on product support, customization, training, and digital innovation within civil and site disciplines.
Responsibilities

Support the Digital Design Director and regional aviation and civil/site teams in implementing digital innovation and transformation.
Track, develop, troubleshoot, or enhance OpenRoads Designer workspaces as needed.
Engage project teams to identify, explore, and challenge digital strategies.
Assess and develop internal training, up‑skilling, and awareness programs to equip colleagues with evolving client‑facing capabilities.
Develop and leverage asset information‑management strategies to meet the growing demand within the practice.
Champion the responsibilities of the information‑management function as described in ISO 19650.
Support project CAD/BIM managers and coordinators in technical support functions.
Support global and national digital‑transformation initiatives.
Establish project processes that mature the information model.
Work with discipline leads and other BIM managers to establish cost‑effective, practical approaches to integrating digital technology throughout project lifecycles.
Collaborate with a network of design leads, designers, BIM managers, engineers, and other product specialists to ensure adherence to BIM requirements in accordance with the BEP.
Encourage the use of 3‑D modeling and tools for review, enhancing and influencing design decisions.
Lead, develop, and coach individuals to build high‑performing teams, leaving a legacy of talent.
Maintain engagement with other projects, teams, academia, institutions, and industries.
Occasional travel required.
Champion the implementation of Autodesk Forma Suite applications on aviation, civil/site projects.
Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of design experience in civil/site disciplines.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture (or high‑school diploma combined with 10+ years of relevant experience).
Experience developing workspaces, standards, or training materials.
Experience leading civil/design production groups.
Expertise in Autodesk technologies, especially AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, and some Revit; comfort with Autodesk Forma and Desktop Connector.
Knowledge of Autodesk configuration and customizations.
Exposure to Bentley products and cross‑platform projects (Bentley & Autodesk) a plus.
Experience developing Dynamo scripts or solutions is a plus.
Familiarity with 3‑D modeling, collaboration, construction management, and cloud‑based applications, especially Autodesk, Bentley, and ESRI.
Track record of implementing transformative processes that increase skills and drive efficiencies.
