Fall Musical Director

Location: Jackson Middle School
Duties:
Attend and run all auditions, rehearsals (3:20-5:20), performances, leader meetings, and clean-up days
Create and communicate detailed rehearsal schedules weekly and for the season
Coordinate all logistics for productions including setting up the gym, sound/lights equipment, props and sets, volunteers, tickets, scheduling etc.
Publicity/communications such as: posters, announcements, videos, yearbook, designing and ordering shirts
Parent/Student communication including information packets, weekly emails, and responding to concerns and questions
Coordinate various components such as vocals, choreography, props, sets, and costumes (Example: creating list of required props and costumes and directions for how to complete)
Order all supplies and royalties needed for production (with the office)
Prepare for productive rehearsals–for example, by preparing slides, activities, blocking, and choreography
30 rehearsals; 4 audition days; 4 dress rehearsals; performances about 14 hours; approximately 100 hours prep Start Date: 9/9/26. Salary: $2,726.50
