Northwest Center for Behavioral Health (NCBH) is seeking a dedicated
Consumer Recovery Specialist
to join our inpatient team to support patients and staff in the behavioral health treatment setting. As a
Consumer Recovery Specialist , you will play an integral role in providing direct and indirect care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, promoting wellness, de‑escalating difficult situations, and serving as a role model for the unit. You will assist in therapeutic options, support nursing staff, and help with admissions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct and indirect care, promoting mental and emotional well‑being.
Ensure safety and well‑being through participation in de‑escalation efforts and providing therapeutic support activities.
Act as a role model by demonstrating problem‑solving, decision‑making, and leadership.
Take the lead in therapeutic options and support nursing staff.
Assist in the admissions process.
Job Type and Compensation
Open/Close dates: 3/2/2026 – 3/16/2026
Full-time, 10‑hour shifts (Th, F, Sa, Su). Primary hours: 3:30 pm – 2:00 am.
Hourly rate: $17.09 + differentials of $0.50 for evenings and nights, $0.75 for weekends/holidays, and $1.00 for direct care.
FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt.
Primary work location: NCBH Fort Supply Inpatient Unit.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
CRS:
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
SR CRS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting four (4) years of relevant experience for the required education.
Preference may be given to current NCBH employees.
Special Requirements
Willingness to travel as required and possession of a valid driver’s license.
Upon conditional offer, applicants must undergo a physical examination and meet requirements, including the ability to occasionally lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
