Working onsite in Charlotte, NC, the full-time Operations Technician II will monitor and maintain management networks, open trouble tickets, and drive equipment and facility repairs while collaborating with field operations and other work groups.
Key responsibilities
Maintain excellent acknowledgment and response time to alarms and customer calls
Analyze, diagnose, sectionalize, isolate, and resolve trouble situations while managing multiple trouble reports
Provide direct support to technicians in restoration activities associated with alarm and/or outage conditions
Required qualifications
Three or more years of related experience in telecom or network operations
Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia platforms, including Layer 2 & 3 switch and router configuration
Knowledge of Element Management Systems (EMS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
