HELP OUT: Clean Theater After Youth Ballet Performance The San Diego Civic Youth Ballet is putting on an end of semester showcase and they need volunteers to help clean up the theater after the performances. Their mission is to make sure all students have the opportunity to dance, and they couldn't put on these performances without the help of volunteers like you!
Opportunity Requirements & Important Notes Key Responsibilities:
Assist in breaking down lobby decorations, stage props, stage floor and transporting items to the loft or moving truck with SDCYB staff or Tech Crew.
Skills & Qualifications:
This position requires climbinga ladder, packing boxes, cleaning, and some heavy lifting.
Attire: Please plan on wearing clothes you can move in and tennis shoes/closed-toe shoes. This opportunity takes place both indoors and outdoors, so volunteers should wear sun protection such as sunscreen and a hat.
Bring: If you happen to have work gloves, it might be helpful to bring those as well. THERE WILL BE HEAVY LIFTING INVOLVED.
Physical Requirements: Bending, lifting 20lbs, climbing stairs, walking and moving around. Unfortunately, this opportunity is not able to make accommodations for individuals with physical limitations and the space where this project takes place is not wheelchair accessible.
