Role Description
Lingua Franca is hiring a Marketing & Operations Coordinator to keep the marketing engine running smoothly behind the scenes, from partnership collaboration logistics and sample production to calendar management and executive support. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, operations, and organization, and is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, anticipates needs before they're asked, and can juggle many moving parts without dropping a ball.
You’ll work closely with the COO and founder to keep partnership relationships, product launches, and day‑to‑day operations on track, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks as the brand grows its global footprint.
Partnership, VIP, and Influencer Coordination
Organize and help prepare for meetings with brand partners, coordinating scheduling, agendas, and follow‑ups
Orchestrate sample production and fulfillment for partnerships, influencers, VIPs, and general marketing needs, tracking requests from ask through shipment
Serve as the point of contact ensuring partners and influencers receive the right product, on time
Maintain organized records of partnership relationships, commitments, and deliverables
Marketing Calendar & Launch Management
Own and maintain the master marketing calendar across campaigns, partnerships, and product drops
Help the team stay organized and on‑schedule for partnership product launches, flagging dependencies and deadlines proactively
Coordinate across marketing, production, and embroidery studio teams to ensure launch timelines are realistic and met
Track launch details (assets, samples, copy, timing) in one central place so nothing is left to memory
Executive & Operational Support
Support the Founder and COO with scheduling, calendar management, and meeting preparation
Help prepare materials, agendas, and follow‑up notes for internal and external meetings
Assist with day‑to‑day operational tasks that keep the leadership team focused on priorities
Project Management & Cross‑Functional Support
Support project management across marketing and operational initiatives, keeping timelines, action items, and owners visible
Create and maintain checklists, trackers, and templates so recurring processes scale
Coordinate with Customer Service/Sales, Production, and the Embroidery Studio as needed to keep marketing initiatives aligned with operational reality
Flag risks or delays early and help problem‑solve logistics
What Success Looks Like
Partnership, influencer, and VIP requests move smoothly from ask to delivery, with nothing missed
The marketing calendar is a reliable single source of truth the whole team trusts
Product launches happen on schedule because details were tracked and dependencies flagged early
The Founder and COO can hand off scheduling and follow‑through with full confidence
Cross‑functional projects stay organized without constant check‑ins
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience in marketing, operations, coordination, or executive support (agency, e‑commerce, or luxury/fashion experience a plus)
Exceptionally organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable liaising with external partners
Proactive — flags problems and proposes solutions rather than waiting for direction
Comfortable with calendar/scheduling tools; Shopify and Klaviyo experience a plus
Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive or confidential information
Based in NYC
