Managing Partner – Aerospace & Industrial Systems (m/f)

Owns execution strategy for aerospace systems, launch infrastructure, and orbital industrial scaling. Drives investment decisions across commercial space, aerospace, and advanced industrial systems by combining deep technical expertise with operational leadership.
Responsibilities

Oversee launch systems, orbital infrastructure deployment, and industrial scaling programs
Translate aerospace engineering constraints into investment, product, and execution decisions
Partner with engineering teams on cost curves, manufacturing scalability, and system reliability
Evaluate emerging aerospace technologies, suppliers, and strategic partnerships
Lead technical due diligence for aerospace and space infrastructure investments
Define long-term roadmaps for orbital logistics, launch cadence, and industrial expansion
Manage cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, finance, and external partners
Advise portfolio companies on operational excellence, manufacturing scale-up, and mission execution

Profile

Former senior executive in the commercial space, aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing sector
Experience in launch systems, spacecraft operations, orbital infrastructure, or aerospace manufacturing
Strong execution-oriented, engineering-first mindset
Experience managing multi-billion-dollar infrastructure, aerospace, or industrial programs
Deep understanding of systems engineering, reliability, safety, and regulatory environments
Proven track record of scaling complex engineering organizations and delivering mission-critical programs
Exceptional leadership, strategic decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
