About this Role - Proposal Coordinator
We are looking for a talented Proposal Coordinator who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for the production of assigned technical proposals and presentations.

What You’ll Do

Work with the technical operations team to establish schedule and content requirements for proposal

Compile materials to ensure requirements are met

Proofread and edit proposal text written by the project team and technical experts

Write text such as introduction, qualifications, etc.

Format documents according to corporate standards

Coordinate final production, including shipping or electronic submittal as required

Develop technical qualifications:

Work with the technical operations team to develop, update and maintain capability and experience content

Proofread and edit text written by the project team and technical experts

Write text such as introduction, qualifications, etc.

Research and write for internal marketing publications

Support the sales and business development team for Quanta and all operating units

What You’ll Bring

Computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and other software programs is preferred. Experience with MS Access database development is a plus.

Excellent writing and editing skills are critical, requiring an excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs.

Proven communication, organizational and persuasive interpersonal skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to understand and communicate both technical and strategic messages.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related major.

1-3 years of experience with an engineering or construction firm or in a similar technical/marketing environment, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
