Overview
Position as the recognized resource responsible for development of radio programming files for distribution and installation. Responsible to identify existing and request new Radio IDs, Talkgroups and Encryption for use in developing and building templates.
Requires extensive computer skills and ability to accurately enter data into radio programming files and associated asset management software and databases. Must function with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Identify radio programming needs through written request, user contract, related task, or initiated change/requirement.
Contact user to define and verify all requested changes.
Request radio IDs and Talkgroup IDs for radio templates.
Requirements
Three years of experience as a Radio/Communications Technician.
Two years of experience with P25 Radio Programming (Motorola & Kenwood).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
