This position serves as the operational partner to the livestream host during broadcasts. While following established product sequencing and promotional strategies, the Operations Specialist is responsible for monitoring audience behavior, engagement trends, and sales performance in real time, making operational adjustments to pacing, giveaway timing, product sequencing, and host coordination to maximize livestream effectiveness.

Evaluate and ensure product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory details are accurately prepared before each show.
Coordinate with warehouse and inbound teams to ensure product readiness and organization ahead of each broadcast.
Actively monitor live performance metrics (viewers, engagement, conversion) during broadcasts and take initiative to implement immediate operational adjustments to enhance the livestream experience and maximize sales.
Support the development of campaign strategies and align livestream themes with seasonal marketing goals.
2. Product Planning & Consumer Insights
Contribute firsthand consumer insights to inform product sequencing strategy and operational planning, based on direct observation of viewer behavior and purchasing patterns during broadcasts.
Assist the Team Leader in product selection planning, identifying which products resonate most with the audience and proposing adjustments to the product lineup accordingly.
Support the planning of special promotional events and themed livestreams in coordination with the Team Leader and marketing team.
3. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor and document key live performance metrics and session milestones during broadcasts, including peak and lowest concurrent viewers, engagement spikes, and conversion inflection points.
Collect weekly livestream and sales data from platform backends and maintain accurate operational records.
Compile post-stream data reports and fill in company-provided reporting templates, ensuring all data is accurate and submitted to the Team Leader on time.
Track and analyze livestream performance results, evaluating sales, GMV/hour, engagement, and conversion trends, and propose operational improvements based on findings.
Oversee platform backend management (tagging, listing organization, and synchronization across Whatnot, TikTok, Shopify).
4. Team Coordination & Administrative Support
Serve as the key point of contact coordinating between livestream hosts, warehouse, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of livestream plans.
Communicate clearly and proactively, taking initiative to identify and resolve time-sensitive operational issues.
Participate in and support team meetings, preparing updates, evaluating results, and following up on action items.
Assist the Team Leader in warehouse communication and logistics coordination to ensure inventory is ready and organized for each broadcast.
Prepare weekly performance summary slides and ensure all documentation is completed and shared with the Team Leader on time.
