Job Description
The Livestream Operations Specialist is a core member of our livestream team, responsible for the hands‑on execution of live sessions, performance tracking, and day‑to‑day platform operations across our sales channels.

We operate on a team schedule. Our livestream windows are primarily concentrated in the mornings, evenings, and on weekends — this is when our audience is most active, and when the work happens. Shifts are assigned on a rotating basis, and the team is structured to ensure everyone has regular time off each week. During peak shopping seasons — including Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the holiday period — the pace intensifies and the team operates at full capacity.

This is a fast‑moving environment that rewards people who are adaptable, sharp, and genuinely excited about the space. This is an entry‑to‑mid level position, and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong performers have a clear pathway toward a Livestream Team Leader role.

Key Responsibilities
1. Livestream Execution & On‑Air Operations (Core Focus)

Take the lead in running live sessions — controlling show pacing, managing product flow, directing the host in real time, and adjusting engagement strategies based on live audience behavior and sales performance.

Evaluate and confirm that all product listings, pricing, and inventory details are accurately prepared before each broadcast.

Coordinate with warehouse and inbound teams ahead of each show to ensure product readiness.

Manage morning, evening, and weekend sessions with a high degree of independence, exercising professional judgment to keep each broadcast on track and performing well.

Contribute to campaign planning and align livestream themes with seasonal marketing and sales goals.

2. Scheduling & Platform Operations

Develop and manage weekly and monthly livestream schedules, coordinating across product arrivals, warehouse capacity, and marketing campaigns.

Manage platform backends across Whatnot, TikTok, and Shopify — including listings, tagging, pricing, and cross‑platform synchronization.

Proactively identify and resolve platform‑level issues to ensure smooth broadcast execution.

3. Performance Tracking & Data Analysis

Monitor and record key performance metrics during each broadcast, including concurrent viewer counts, engagement trends, conversion inflection points, and GMV per hour.

Collect and organize weekly data from platform backends and compile post‑stream performance reports using company templates.

Analyze trends across sessions to identify patterns and propose improvements to scheduling, product sequencing, and operational approach.

Present findings clearly to the Team Leader to support planning and decision‑making.

4. Cross‑Team Coordination

Serve as the operational link between the host, warehouse, and marketing teams, ensuring alignment before and after each broadcast.

Communicate proactively and take initiative to resolve time‑sensitive issues as they arise.

Participate in team meetings, contribute performance updates, and follow through on action items.

Note: The specific dimensions and responsibilities of this role may be adjusted in the future based on changes in actual work requirements and business needs.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Strong sense of ownership and the ability to exercise sound judgment in a fast‑paced, live environment.

Comfortable working independently and managing priorities without constant supervision.

Basic data literacy — ability to read performance metrics and translate observations into actionable recommendations.

Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is required.

Familiarity with AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) is highly preferred.

Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus — training will be provided.

Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with hosts and cross‑functional teams.

Must be available and willing to work mornings, evenings, and weekends in accordance with the team livestream schedule.

A genuine interest in e‑commerce, livestream retail, or digital operations is a strong plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Starting monthly salary: USD $4,000 (during probationary period); increasing to USD $4,500 upon successful completion of probation.

Clear career growth pathway toward a Livestream Team Leader role for strong performers.

Potential H1B sponsorship for exceptional candidates.

Hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge livestream e‑commerce operations.

Collaborative, energetic, and fast‑growing team culture.
