Marketing Coordinator

Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator supports the hospital's internal and external marketing functions by coordinating educational programs, community outreach activities, client communications, intern programs, and promotional initiatives. The role assists hospital leadership in building and maintaining the hospital's brand reputation, fostering veterinarian relationships, and enhancing community presence.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate veterinary school student and extern visits, including scheduling and documentation.

Manage intern selection, assimilation, and rotational schedules, maintaining application platforms and liaising with schools.

Organize and support continuing education classes, seminars, and veterinary events.

Plan and manage community events, coordinating materials and on‑site representation.

Communicate hospital news and promotional information to clients and referring veterinarians through direct mail, email, and other channels.

Maintain and update the hospital website, social media pages, brochures, and other marketing materials.

Assist in evaluating and pursuing new marketing opportunities across digital, print, radio, and social platforms.

Order, inventory, and distribute marketing materials such as brochures, business cards, pens, magnets, and signage.

Support veterinary recruitment efforts, including job posting coordination and candidate scheduling.

Track and report on marketing activities and referral engagement metrics.

Qualifications
Education & Experience

Minimum 18 years of age; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.

2+ years of marketing experience; experience in healthcare or veterinary marketing preferred.

Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.

Experience building relationships with referral partners and community outreach initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of marketing, public relations and advertising principles.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative problem‑solver who can work independently.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with email marketing and social media tools.

Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated team player.

Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures.

Willingness to travel locally for events and hospital locations.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, with some weekends for community events.

Onsite position with approximately 80% local travel.

Pay Range
$20—$26 USD per hour.
