Purpose of the role

The Campaign Manager works with both their clients and their team to ensure the efficient and effective running of their accounts. They clearly understand their clients’ objectives and requirements, the commercial terms of their retained accounts and projects and level of resource required to service the accounts. Client facing, Campaign Managers translate quick but creative thinking into decisive action; providing team management, delegation of tasks and exceptional media relations skills.
With a strong and growing cybersecurity practice, we’re currently looking for a Campaign Manager with deep cybersecurity experience, including an understanding of the security landscape and trends, and relationships with cybersecurity reporters across trade and business media. Broader B2B tech experience across cloud, digital infrastructure, data management and AI is a plus.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks

Client Management

Assist the team with the management of client accounts and projects, helping to establish TEAM LEWIS as an invaluable long-term partner for marketing and communications services
Coordinate communication (including meetings and reviews) with clients, adhering to deadlines and client service level agreements
Support the new business process by providing research and coordination
Assist with the coordination of press tours, events and review programs
Media Relations

Understand and avidly follow the news agenda, positioning clients and products within context
Research and identify appropriate journalists, bloggers and analysts on an on-going basis
Develop media and blogger relationships for self and on behalf of the team
Monitor relevant news sources and alert the team to relevant breaking news opportunities
Develop an understanding of strong news angles and media opportunities, escalating these to more senior team members
Organize and coordinate media interviews and press briefings
Content

Draft a broad range of written materials including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders and boilerplates
Create press materials and compelling content for both traditional and digital media
Create valuable and insightful briefing sheets to assist clients with their press communications
Develop and share knowledge around how to find a good news angle or hook
Focus on improving writing ability, adapting and refining style to suit the needs of the client
Digital / Social media

Use social media platforms to expand own network, develop media relationships and positively impact client results
Provide social media insight as well as execution and management of related digital activity
Team working and development

Ensure personal and deliverable client objectives are met on an on-going basis
Accurately report activity levels and regularly complete timesheets to ensure correct allocation of client and team duties
Escalate general new business requests to appropriate team members
Work closely with line manager to maximize own strengths, improve weaknesses and support individual and team career development
Regularly attend TEAM LEWIS training sessions and daily press briefings to enhance skills and develop knowledge
Reporting and analysis

Track and report on media activity, including coverage reports, press clippings, online media engagement, showing progress using metrics
Ensure that all account activity and results are reported back to the Senior Campaign Executive / Campaign Manager / Campaign Director
Communicate account performance internally at account reviews
Provide reports to the Campaign Manager, Campaign Director or senior management team on request
General

Support the Account Servicing team on ad hoc initiatives and projects
Takes a proactive role in promoting the TEAM LEWIS brand, its work, identity and values
Support the HR / talent team by promoting both internal and external opportunities at TEAM LEWIS across social media and via the referral scheme
Contribute and support the continuous improvement of systems, practices and policies
About You

Ideally, previous internship experience of working in a PR, marketing or digital communications environment
Attention to detail
Proven written ability in English and local languages
Creative thinking
Confident presentation skills
Keen interest in the media: print and broadcast
Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines
Clear interest in current affairs and news agenda

Salary

The expected salary range for the Campaign Manager position is between $95K - $113K. Base annual salary is determined by factors such as location, experience, and expertise.
