Prime members can customize their viewing experience and find their favorite movies, series, documentaries, and live sports – including Amazon MGM Studios-produced series and movies; licensed fan favorites; and programming from Prime Video subscriptions such as Apple TV+, HBO Max, Peacock, Crunchyroll and MGM+. All customers, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not, can rent or buy titles via the Prime Video Store, and can enjoy even more content for free with ads.

Responsibilities

As a highly experienced and seasoned science leader, apply state of the art natural language processing and computer vision research to video centric digital media.
Create and maintain the best environment for applied science to recruit, retain and develop top talent.
Lead the research direction for a team of deeply talented applied scientists, creating roadmaps for forward-looking research and communicating them effectively to senior leadership.
Hire and develop applied scientists to grow the team to meet evolving customer needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of building models for business application experience
PhD, or Master\'s degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
Experience developing and implementing deep learning algorithms, particularly with respect to computer vision algorithms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Unix/Linux
Experience in professional software development
Have publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
