php Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced PHP Developer for a contract position in Akron Ohio. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP and MySQL. This position is ideal for students or individuals looking to gain experience in the field of software development.
Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and MySQL
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Troubleshoot and debug existing code to resolve issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement new features
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve development processes
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of experience developing web applications using PHP and MySQL
Strong understanding of OOP concepts and MVC framework
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience working with version control systems Git
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred

Experience with other programming languages such as Python or Java
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of database design principles
Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. English proficiency is not required for this role.
