The Greenwood School of Music at Oklahoma State University seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Percussion with a start date of August 2026.

Responsibilities
The candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate music majors and non‑majors in classical, jazz, and contemporary styles; coach and direct percussion ensembles and jazz combos; lead weekly studio classes; collaborate with faculty to support student success and ensemble excellence; engage in service to the unit and profession; be productive as an artist/scholar; and promote a welcoming learning environment.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in percussion or related field, conferred on or before the agreed upon start date.
Evidence of successful applied teaching experience at the university level.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with students and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D./Ed.D. Earned doctorate or equivalent professional experience.
Strong performance background in both classical and jazz idioms.
