Program Coordinator – Domestic Student Recruitment, Outreach & Orientation
Oversee planning and coordination of Butte College’s orientation programs for new students, including Reg2Go and seasonal orientation sessions, collaborating with campus departments to ensure successful student transition, managing Orientation Leaders and program logistics, and tracking data to support continuous improvement of the student onboarding experience.

Work Schedule
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off. As an exempt position, hours may vary based on departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a Social Science area or a related field (e.g., Counseling, Business, Program Development); AND
Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience directly related to the responsibilities of this classification.

Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful applicant will be required to complete a medical history questionnaire and must agree to undergo and pass a pre-employment physical examination, as required by the position. The physician will be selected and paid for by the District.
Education Code § 87408.6 mandates submission of a tuberculosis test within 60 days of employment.
Fingerprints will be required prior to beginning work. Candidates may be fingerprinted at Butte College Human Resources or another agency. The Department of Justice fee is the employee’s responsibility at the time of printing.
Travel and Relocation Accommodations
For candidates traveling more than 80 miles to attend an onsite interview at Butte College, travel reimbursement may be available. If hired, relocation incentives are offered.
