Job Summary
Strategically plan and manage media across all media channels, segments and audiences for North America-based theme parks and experiences, including Universal Studios Hollywood. Effectively lead agency teams and build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage media budget details, including reconciliation and reporting to Finance, Brand and Leadership. Partner with analytics teams to leverage data and analytics for media strategy. Serve as the Media SME on cross‑functional teams and meetings.
Major Responsibilities
Engage with Brand partners to understand business needs and translate those into paid media strategies; stay updated on product launches and seasonal requirements.
Develop and implement media strategy, ensuring plans remain fresh and effective as the business evolves; update plans as needed.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders; serve as the paid media subject‑matter expert, communicating plan details confidently in written and presentation form.
Proactively bring new ideas, opportunities and best practices to media strategies, aligning plans with business needs and consumer behaviors.
Partner with Analytics to ensure data integrity for paid media inputs into the MM model, and translate output to actionable strategies.
Maintain media budget accuracy and report to internal stakeholders and Finance.
Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policies, procedures and training.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
8+ years of hands‑on media planning and/or buying experience, agency‑ or brand‑side; deep understanding of media marketplace across various platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Solid experience with both online and offline media planning and buying.
Experience partnering with analytics teams to source data and insights for media strategy.
Strong organizational, verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
Hybrid work model: minimum four days per week at Universal City office.
