Overview
The Senior Interior Designer / Design Director is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position based in Atlanta. As a key member of our leadership team and the Principal’s second‑in‑command within the design studio, this individual will lead our skilled design staff and their own portfolio of projects from concept through final installation. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable leading by example as they are leading a team, capable of independently executing sophisticated design solutions—including concept development, space planning, CAD documentation, 3D modeling, material selections, specifications, and presentations—while effectively mentoring, delegating to, and directing other Senior Designers, Associate Designers and Design Assistants.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Establish the creative direction for luxury residential and boutique hospitality projects.
- Review and redline construction documents.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, artisans, and vendors.
- Manage project schedules and budgets.
- Ensure every project reflects Habachy Designs’ uncompromising standards of service, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
- Lead studio leadership as the Principal’s second‑in‑command, mentoring and delegating to the design team.
- Demonstrate confidence as a decision‑maker and inspire leadership across projects.
- Foster collaboration and elevate both the quality of work and the growth of the team.
