NBC Sports Marketing Internship – Summer 2026 (Stamford, CT)
We are looking for motivated students to join the NBC Sports Marketing team for a paid internship from June 1 to August 7, 2026. The internship will be based in Stamford, CT and requires a full‑time commitment of 40 hours per week.

Internship Details

Format: In‑person at NBC Sports Headquarters, Stamford, CT
Areas of Placement
Sports Strategic Marketing – develop marketing and brand strategies for NBCUniversal sports properties including NFL, Olympics, Premier League, PGA TOUR, NASCAR, and more.
Consumer Engagement – support marketing calendar management, metrics updates, and long‑term projects for NFL, Olympics and other initiatives.
Basic Requirements
Actively enrolled in a degree‑granting program (must be enrolled for the entire internship period). Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible.
Current standing of sophomore (30 credits) or higher.
Authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship.
Available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026.
Willing to work in Stamford, CT.
Visa and Legal
Applicants on F‑1 CPT, F‑1 OPT, J‑1, or M‑1 visas are not eligible unless they can transition to a status that grants U.S. work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship. NBCUniversal is an E‑Verify company; all interns must provide a Social Security number and complete an I‑9 form within three days of hire.
Desired Characteristics
Junior or senior standing preferred.
GPA 3.0 or higher.
Deep knowledge and fandom of the sports world.
Experience in copywriting.
Basic graphic design and video editing (Adobe Photoshop or Premiere).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive, positive, reliable, and follow‑through oriented.
Passion for sports.
Critical/analytical thinking – ability to work with complex data and analytics for recommendations.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $19.00 per hour.
