For our client, we are seeking a Commercial Director to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a hospitality and recreation environment.
Location: San Francisco, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $220,000 – $230,000 annually
Responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and lead the commercial team
- Drive RevPAR performance through strategic planning and pricing
- Oversee marketing, promotions, and public relations initiatives
- Maintain key accounts and support major business opportunities
- Set, monitor, and achieve commercial goals across all segments
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in luxury hotel commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management)
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in revenue and budget management
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high‑performing teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
