Audio Visual Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial AV Installation Technician to install, terminate, and troubleshoot audiovisual systems in corporate, healthcare, education, and commercial environments. The ideal candidate has experience with conference room technology, display installations, structured cabling, and equipment rack build-outs.
Responsibilities

Install commercial audiovisual systems including displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, video conferencing equipment, and digital signage.
Pull, terminate, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and AV wiring.
Build and install AV equipment racks, patch panels, and cable management systems.
Mount displays, cameras, speakers, and ceiling devices according to project drawings.
Read blueprints, floor plans, and AV system schematics.
Assist with equipment configuration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Maintain clean, organized installations while following company and OSHA safety standards.
Requirements

3+ years of commercial AV installation experience.
Experience installing conference room and presentation systems.
Knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage infrastructure.
Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Reliable transportation and own basic tools.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Shure, Logitech, Poly, or Cisco collaboration systems.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Lift certification or experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts.
