The Role
As the appointed Employment Solicitor, you will manage a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees. You will advise on Employment Tribunal claims, redundancy and restructuring, employment contracts, policies and handbooks, settlement agreements, and disciplinary and grievance matters. You will play a key role in the firm’s growth and have the ability to take ownership of a department across the firm’s offices. There will be occasional travel to other offices. In addition to fee earning, you will undertake business development, networking, and build lasting relationships.

The Candidate
You will have at least 8 years PQE in dealing with the broad spectrum of employment law, including acting for both employers and employees. You will possess the ability to deal with complex matters and have the desire to lead and build a successful employment department.

The Firm
Offering a supportive and collaborative culture, you will be given the opportunity to genuinely lead and shape the employment department of this established East Anglia based practice. Salary will be dependent on experience.
