Project Management Specialist – responsible for overseeing major projects, ensuring adherence to policy, and managing resources, budgets, and quality standards to mitigate contractual and project risks.
Responsibilities

Oversee large‑scale projects requiring additional oversight to mitigate contractual and project risks.
Ensure allocation of resources complies with policies and that funds are spent as authorized.
Manage project budgets and secure final approval.
Lead the development and maintenance of effective project management processes.
Direct employees in managing projects, controlling cost, schedule, scope, and quality parameters.
Represent the District at meetings, briefings, conferences, and hearings with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate must also meet the following experience and competency requirements:
Experience: At least one year of experience managing large and complex studies, designs, or construction projects; using a Quality Management System and Primavera P6 scheduling software is required.

Conditions of Employment

Position performs Project and/or Program Management functions.
May require a background investigation and a suitability or fitness determination.
Applicant must submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE‑450.
One‑year probationary period may be required; direct deposit of pay is required.
