Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency The Program Supervisor, Energy Efficiency manages and executes goals that support company and contractor-led Energy Efficiency programs within Ameren Illinois’ Energy Efficiency portfolio. The Residential Program Supervisor of Energy Efficiency serves as the primary contact for energy efficiency projects, manages data input, and market portfolio offerings to stakeholders inside and outside Ameren. This role assists newer staff, other Ameren staff, external vendors, and partners to design programs and offerings that help Ameren Illinois’ customers.
Key responsibilities Oversee the performance of contractors responsible for the implementation and operation of energy efficiency and demand response programs.
Oversee coordination of internal and external resources (subcontractors and vendors) committed to successful program execution.
Review and approve vendor invoices. Manage contract compliance. Coordinate accounting activities with Corporate Accounting.
Maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with business, professional groups, and industry allies in support of Ameren Illinois’ energy efficiency objectives.
Assist in the development and execution of marketing, sales and program implementation strategies to increase customer satisfaction and motivate customers to implement energy efficiency and demand response projects.
Support internal and external program communication and outreach needs.
Track program metrics and prepare status reports to monitor progress against objectives, timelines, budgets, and goals.
Lead the development, implementation and tracking of projects using project management best practices.
Stay current with ongoing trends in energy efficiency and demand response.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA preferred. Five or more years of relevant experience required (e.g., contract compliance, marketing, accounting, technology, data reporting, engineering). May waive degree requirement for candidates with nine or more years of directly relevant experience, or for candidates with an Associate’s degree with seven or more years of directly relevant experience.
Technical career path level and salary depends upon applicant’s credentials. Open to all levels.
Additional qualifications : Working knowledge of MS Office Suite; strong critical thinking and customer service approach; leadership and influence; team-building and organizational skills; business acumen, decision making, problem solving, analytical and computational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Hybrid role requires 3 days in office (currently Mon–Wed) with travel as needed. Reporting out of Peoria and/or Collinsville; some flexibility for Mon and Fri. Travel may be required.
Compensation range: $88,500.00 - $172,200.00
* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depend upon credentials.
At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package. Pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within the organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. Factors include, but are not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on performance.
