Job Overview
We're seeking a UX Copywriter to craft clear, compelling web copy for credit card product pages and digital tools. You'll collaborate with a team of 4 UI/UX designers, stakeholders, and legal/compliance teams to deliver user-friendly content for a hybrid role based in Richmond.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
Required Experience
At least 2 years of copywriting or creative writing experience
At least 2 years of experience creating content for digital products or UX environments
Preferred Experience
Experience in B2C, Performance, Digital, or Direct Response marketing
Experience in the financial services industry
Designing for cross-channel experiences
Comfortable working with Product and Tech partners
Familiarity with working and contributing to an established design system
Key Qualification/Experience
Write for the User Experience.
Craft engaging, simple, and intuitive copy for digital channels, translating complex information and legal text into user-friendly language.
Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs, then translate them into concepts that evolve and enhance the product interface and experience.
Advocate for the customer through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, ideation, and user testing.
Work with researchers and analysts to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability and empathy studies.
Participate in end-to-end product design by framing problems, determining insights, and defining copy to serve customer needs.
Contribute to our internal design system by creating new standards, best practices, and guidelines for content.
Collaborate and deliver.
Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver world-class digital experiences.
Present copy concepts in a compelling way to various stakeholders to create support and alignment.
Deliver error-free work with keen attention to detail.
Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time.
Listen to and incorporate feedback from stakeholders with diverse goals and perspectives.
Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch, so you can invest your time where it matters.
Understand the goals of a project, take direction well, and ask questions when you need clarity.
