Job Title: Bilingual Digital Content Producer/MMJ

Location: KOSA-Station-Odessa, TX (Music City Mall, 4101 East 42nd Street, Ste J-7, Odessa, TX 79762)

Summary: Gray Media, parent company of Telemundo 20/KTLE and First Alert 7/KOSA – the top-rated, long-time news leader in Odessa‑Midland, TX – is looking for a Bilingual Digital Content Producer/MMJ to join our news team. You will generate West Texas‑based news content in Spanish for our Telemundo digital and broadcast platforms.

Responsibilities

Respond to both local and national news coverage in real time.

Work well with a team using digital/email communications.

Demonstrate strong Spanish and English writing and copy‑editing skills following AP style guidelines.

Show solid news judgment and be able to identify relevant daily stories for the nightly Telemundo 20 newscasts.

Be a self‑starter who is ready to develop relationships with the Spanish‑speaking community in West Texas.

Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Report for both broadcast and digital platforms for our stations Telemundo 20 and First Alert 7 in Odessa, Texas, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field; OR two years of comparable work experience.

Demonstrated visual storytelling experience (traditional broadcast and/or digital and/or social media examples).

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and complete work on deadline.

Organized way of prioritizing multiple tasks as needed.

Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Knowledge and experience with standard workplace software including Microsoft applications for email and word processing; previous experience with newsroom systems is preferred.

Portfolio link or video link demonstrating previous experience.
