Move United, an Affiliate of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee and a national leader in sports and recreation for individuals with disabilities, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator. Move United is a nonprofit focused on the life-changing power of sport for youth and adults with disabilities, with Vision 2028 guiding the organization’s growth and impact.
The organization emphasizes inclusion through sport and aims to position Move United as a recognized leader in community-based adaptive sports. Founded in 1956, Move United supports adaptive sports opportunities through 250+ member organizations, serving more than 130,000 youth and adults with disabilities in 45 states.
Responsibilities

Marketing Execution & Brand Consistency
Ensure consistent, engaging messaging across print and digital marketing assets, outreach materials, website, and social media platforms.
Maintain organizational brand guidelines and templates to uphold a uniform visual identity and messaging across departments.
Research nonprofit, sports marketing, and branding trends and integrate best practices.
Content Creation
Design and produce marketing materials (digital, print, website, social assets) aligned with department strategy and program needs.
Capture and edit photos and short-form videos (reels/TikToks) optimized for various platforms.
Collaborate with team members to gather assets and produce content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Social Media Coordination
Coordinate and maintain a year-round social media calendar based on department strategy and event content.
Monitor channels, engage with the online community, and amplify follower content to grow the audience.
Serve as on-site social media lead during signature events, coordinating with photographers/videographers for real-time content.
Website Administration
Review, edit, and update website content in WordPress to ensure information is accurate, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
Assist in writing and updating bios and other sport-specific content as needed.
Liaise with contracted Webmaster to report issues, track plugin updates, and troubleshoot.
Support SEO strategies and monitor keyword performance to drive site traffic.
Assist with website page audits and best-practice training.
Workflow Coordination
Primary administrator for the internal marketing and communications work order system (ClickUp).
Review incoming work orders, assign tasks, and track deadlines to keep projects on schedule.
Measurement & Stakeholder Engagement
Track, compile, and report digital analytics, delivering post-event and quarterly reports on social media and website campaigns.
Build positive relationships with Move United staff, athletes, member organizations, and volunteers to amplify marketing initiatives.
Identify new marketing channels and tactics to extend brand reach and efficiency.
Qualifications

Work Experience:
1–3 years in marketing, digital media, communications, graphic design, or related capacity.
Experience designing digital/print marketing assets and creating social media content.
Experience coordinating projects across multi-functional teams.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Education & Technical Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint).
Proficiency across major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, and YouTube.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and/or Canva/CapCut.
Experience with WordPress CMS; basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
Experience with project management tools (ClickUp preferred), email marketing platforms, and Salesforce.
Travel

Ability to travel within the United States, including Move United signature events (approx. 10%).
Reporting Relationship

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
