Skills Foundation Lead (Learning & Talent)

Role Overview

Seeking a Skills Foundation Lead to execute the implementation of an enterprise skills foundation, adjusting the existing skills setup while establishing a consistent in-system taxonomy, task-to-skill and job-to-skill mapping, system integration, and alignment across talent and learning platforms.
What You Will Do

Partner with business leaders to determine the technical design, sequence, and timeline required to implement an initial task/skills foundation across enterprise talent and learning platforms. Assess and modernize or replace the existing enterprise tasks and skills in-system setup, including current taxonomy, data structures, and platform configuration.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in HR technology, workforce technology, or talent/learning platform implementation
Hands‑on experience building or implementing skills taxonomies, task frameworks, or job architectures within enterprise HR or learning systems
Experience configuring and integrating platforms such as Workday (Skills Cloud, Talent Management, Learning) or SAP SuccessFactors (Skills & Competencies, Learning) or Phenom (Internal Marketplace, Succession, Skills, Career Pathing)
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical system design and configuration
Experience mapping skills and tasks to job architectures and learning content at scale
Strong understanding of enterprise HR data structures, integration patterns, and platform dependencies
