East Hills Middle School is looking for a passionate and creative Theater Director to lead our student theater production. We are seeking an individual who is excited to inspire middle school students, foster creativity, and bring a production to life through collaboration and mentorship.

The selected director will be responsible for choosing the production and developing a vision for the performance while collaborating with the production team, including the costumer, set designer, choreographer, and assistant director. The director will guide the creative process from the initial planning stages through the final performance.

Responsibilities include:
Selecting an appropriate theatrical production
Developing and communicating a creative vision for the show
Collaborating with the production team to bring the vision to life
Conducting auditions and selecting the student cast
Leading and directing student rehearsals outside of the regular school day
Supporting students in developing their acting, performance, and teamwork skills

The ideal candidate will have theater directing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for working with young performers. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students build confidence, creativity, and a love for the performing arts.

Compensation:
Stipend based on Bethlehem Education Association CBA
