DocuSign CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) Developer

Our client, a leading regional financial institution, is seeking an experienced DocuSign CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) Developer to support the enhancement and expansion of its enterprise contract management platform. This role will work closely with Legal, Procurement, Vendor Management, Compliance, and Technology teams to design, develop, and optimize DocuSign CLM solutions that streamline contract creation, approval workflows, negotiation, execution, and post-execution management. The ideal candidate has strong DocuSign CLM development experience, understands enterprise workflow automation, and has experience integrating CLM platforms with other enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
Design, configure, and develop DocuSign CLM solutions
Customize contract templates, clauses, workflows, approval processes, and document generation
Develop automated contract lifecycle workflows
Configure security roles, permissions, and user access
Build integrations between DocuSign CLM and enterprise systems using REST APIs and middleware
Develop custom scripting and business rules within the CLM platform
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize platform performance
Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders
Participate in solution architecture, testing, deployment, and production support
Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer
Required Qualifications
4+ years of DocuSign CLM development experience
Strong experience implementing enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management solutions
Experience configuring:
Workflow automation
Contract templates
Clause libraries
Approval routing
Document generation
Electronic signature processes
Experience integrating DocuSign CLM using REST APIs
Strong JavaScript and JSON experience
Experience with XML, HTML, CSS
Familiarity with SQL
Experience with enterprise integrations
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Financial Services or Banking experience
Experience integrating with Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, or ERP platforms
DocuSign CLM certifications
Experience with Agile/Scrum
Knowledge of Legal Operations and Contract Management best practices
