Overview

If you’re passionate about becoming a Nationwide associate and believe you have the potential to be great, work as a Consultant at Nationwide Financial Marketing Integration (NFMI). NFMI focuses on creating exceptional experiences for audiences through personalized, data‑driven engagement. This role supports NFMI's Salesforce initiatives to identify customers and deliver relevant messaging across all marketing channels.
Responsibilities

As a Consultant you will support the development and execution of key NFMI initiatives, including:
The NFMI web personalization roadmap
The transition plan to new personalization capabilities
Digital identification on the web
Web‑to‑email integration
Paid media audience connectivity
In this role you will partner closely with Experience Leads, Marketing Operations, Audience Leads, the Build Lead, and the Director of Audience & Activation to:
Deliver personalized web experiences prioritized through governance.
Connect audiences across web, paid, and email channels.
Support integration of audience activation and personalization efforts across marketing touchpoints.
Help drive relevant and connected experiences for customers throughout their journey.
Additional responsibilities include:
Assisting in the development and execution of strategies and plans that ensure long‑term sustainable growth.
Synthesizing data to support identification and innovation of business‑building solutions.
Leading projects and processes within areas of responsibility to deliver results with multiple target completion dates and shifting priorities.
Implementing digital and traditional marketing tactics and media, including creative development, planning, and execution.
Collaborating on or leading creative development and providing feedback on look and feel.
Developing creative briefs.
Monitoring emerging innovative trends in content, design and marketing tactics.
Using customer insights and analytics to define appropriate target audiences and inform data‑based decisions.
Ensuring programs stay on strategy and on schedule.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Typically eight or more years of professional experience in marketing, strategy, consulting or financial services.
In‑depth knowledge of marketing methodologies, insurance and/or financial services products, distribution systems and customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for developing and reviewing research studies, communicating findings and market recommendations.
Ability to lead and prioritize projects, functioning independently or within a team with limited supervision.
Core marketing proficiencies: strategy development, insights and analytics utilization, brand equity building and effective marketing communications.
Strong customer focus and strategic capabilities.
Technical financial services designations such as FINRA, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, FLMI are considered a plus.
FINRA Series6 license required within 120 days of hire.
Licensing & Legal

Additional licensing may be required to hold this position; associates must acquire required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within the time period designated by the business unit. Failure to obtain required licenses in a timely manner renders the associate ineligible to continue in the position. Location & Schedule

Hybrid position based in Columbus, OH. Candidates will collaborate in office three days per week; current Nationwide Remote Associates may also be considered.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range:

$97,000.00–$180,000.00 (full‑time). Expected starting salary range: $97,000.00–$145,000.00.
