Head, Resourcing & Metrics

For our client, we are seeking a Head Resourcing & Metrics to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a life sciences environment.

Location: South San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $201,300 – $373,800 annually

Responsibilities

Oversee enterprise-wide resourcing and budget tracking for PDD portfolio

Drive planning governance in partnership with Finance and HR

Facilitate cross-functional governance to maintain financial performance transparency

Engage with team and leadership for data-driven insights

Develop departmental plans aligned with business priorities

Shape metrics frameworks measuring BSO and PDD performance

Lead planning and forecasting processes to align resources and budgets

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or similar field preferred

15+ years in business operations or enterprise planning

6+ years in senior leadership roles managing cross-functional teams

Experience in driving resource planning in complex organizations, preferably in life sciences

Proficient with enterprise planning tools like Anaplan or Tableau

Strong stakeholder management skills with senior executives

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
