Videographer/Photographer Student Worker

The Videographer/Photographer Student Worker will assist in capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content to support the department's communication and marketing efforts. This role provides hands-on experience in photography, videography, and post-production, while fostering the development of key career-ready skills in creativity, communication, and digital literacy.
Job Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photos and videos for events, marketing campaigns, and social media platforms.
Edit photos and videos using software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop) or other editing tools.
Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for visual content.
Ensure all visual content aligns with the department's branding and Maryville's mission.
Organize and maintain a digital library of photos and videos for future use.
Stay updated on photography and videography trends to enhance the department's visual storytelling.
Assist with other creative projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with photography and videography, including shooting and editing.
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and composition.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual arts.
Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with social media platforms and creating content tailored to digital audiences is a plus.
Skills Required

Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools.
Position Pay: $15/hr
Hours per week: 10 hrs
Start Date: 08/01/2026
End Date: 05/01/2027
