Key responsibilities
Prepare and distribute news releases to generate media coverage for PETA campaigns
Research and identify suitable local and national media outlets and podcasts for coverage placement
Represent the organization to the media and stay informed about relevant news stories and PETA's efforts
Required qualifications
Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of two years of experience in public relations or the media industry
Demonstrated knowledge of animal rights issues and campaigns
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Commitment to PETA's philosophy and objectives
