Men's Soccer Director of Analytics and Player Performance
Reporting to the Head Coach, the Director of Analytics and Player Performance is a key member of the men’s soccer coaching and administrative staff, responsible for building and leading the program’s data and analytics infrastructure while overseeing core operational functions. This role blends advanced sports analytics—recruiting evaluation, opponent scouting, and player performance data—with day‑to‑day program operations, serving as a strategic partner to the Head Coach in all data‑informed decision‑making.

Essential Functions

Design, build, and maintain recruiting analytics models to evaluate prospective student‑athletes.

Assist in developing opponent scouting reports using video and data to support match‑day preparation.

Partner with sports performance/sports science staff to track player workload, GPS/wearable data, and injury‑risk indicators.

Lead the transfer portal evaluation process, including statistical benchmarking and video‑based grading of prospects.

Support roster construction strategy by modeling squad needs across class years and position groups.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

2‑4 years of experience.

Familiarity with soccer‑specific analytics platforms (e.g., Wyscout, InStat, TruMedia, StatsBomb, or comparable tools).

Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel during the competitive season.
