Graphic Designer

Story Road Marketing Lab is looking for a talented Graphic Designer who loves great ideas, strong visual storytelling, and work that does not look like everything else.

Created by the team behind Gwinnett Magazine and Best of Gwinnett, Story Road brings together more than 25 years of experience in publishing, advertising, branding, and local business storytelling. Our creative space in Historic Downtown Buford includes offices, coworking areas, meeting space, and photo, video, and podcast production capabilities.

What you’ll do
Full-Time | On-Site | Buford, Georgia

You’ll create smart, engaging design for magazines, print ads, branding, social media, digital campaigns, sales materials, video projects, and more. You’ll work alongside writers, marketers, photographers, and video producers to turn good ideas into polished creative work.

We value the craftsmanship of traditional print, original human thinking, and design with purpose. We are also actively exploring AI and emerging technologies that can help us work smarter and create new possibilities. We want someone who is curious about both.

What we’re looking for

Strong layout, typography, branding, and visual storytelling skills

Experience designing for both print and digital media

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

A strong portfolio showing range, creativity, and attention to detail

The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

A collaborative attitude and openness to feedback

Curiosity about AI, technology, and the future of creative work
