Graphic Designer

Mighty 8th Media is seeking a Graphic Designer who is strategic, highly collaborative, and confident owning projects from concept through execution. This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment, brings strong creative direction to the table, and can manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional quality and consistency.

As a contributor, you will be expected to provide creative leadership, elevate design standards across client work, and support the Creative Director and team by bringing thoughtful, well-crafted solutions to complex communication challenges.

Key Attributes

Exceptional creative and conceptual thinking

Strong design fundamentals: typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Confidence working directly with clients and presenting ideas clearly

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining high-quality output

Illustration and drawing ability are a plus

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the creative development and production of projects from concept through completion

Partner with clients to assess needs, define project parameters, and help establish timelines

Develop innovative, effective visual solutions aligned to client goals and brand strategy

Present work, manage feedback, and build strong client relationships

Collaborate with internal team members to ensure project alignment and execution

Contribute to and uphold Mighty 8th’s quality, consistency, and creative standards

Bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to the studio every day

Reports to Creative Director and Managing Partners

Qualifications

BA degree in graphic design preferred. Graduate work in graphic design or fine art helpful.

Strong proficiency in Adobe CC Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required, with Figma experience preferred.

We are a very collaborative team, and applicants will be expected to work in our studio 5 days a week. This is not a remote position. We are located outside Atlanta in historic downtown Buford.
