Key job responsibilities
Lead Amazon Music Label and publisher royalty initiatives, driving core financial automation to impact the entire service. Collaborate with content acquisition, finance, tax, accounting, legal and senior leaders to define new initiatives, stakeholder experiences, and product roadmap. Own a dedicated engineering team to build customer‑facing tools, continuously evaluate opportunities, and deliver long‑term product improvements.
A day in the life
8:30 AM – Coffee, charts & chords; review product metrics and a quick update.
9:00 AM – Daily stand‑up with engineering to sprint through blockers on the royalty‑split service.
10:00 AM – Finance‑Tax‑Legal jam session to align on new contract rules and global royalty compliance automation.
12:30 PM – Recharge break (walk, ping‑pong, or similar) with the team.
2:00 PM – Label experience review: reduce onboarding friction for indie labels.
3:00 PM – Deep thinking on real‑time earnings visibility, smart‑contract triggers, and scalable reporting.
5:00 PM – Wrap‑up: JIRA tickets, stakeholder follow‑ups, and final stream from Amazon Music.

The base salary range for this position is 148,600.00 – 201,100.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and is supplemented by comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
