Senior Brand Marketing ManagerThe Senior Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for leading integrated marketing planning and driving brand affinity across all customer touchpoints, ensuring Floor & Decor shows up with a consistent, compelling brand presence that inspires customers and builds long-term loyalty. This role leads a team of two Brand Marketing Managers and a Marketing Coordinator, owns the marketing communications calendar (marcomm) to ensure cohesive brand presence across every channel and initiative, and serves as the primary liaison between Marketing and key internal business partners such as Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Ecommerce.
Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of two Brand Marketing Managers and a Marketing Coordinator by setting clear goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering a high‑performing, collaborative culture.
Delegating and prioritizing workload across the team to ensure timely, high‑quality execution aligned with business objectives.
Modeling creative and strategic excellence while elevating team performance and supporting professional growth.
Integrated Marketing Planning & Marcomm Calendar Owning and managing the marketing communications calendar to ensure all brand marketing activities are coordinated, sequenced, and aligned with business priorities.
Leading the development of integrated marketing plans for key campaigns, seasonal initiatives, product launches, and events—including in‑store and brand activations—in partnership with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Ensuring all marketing programs are integrated across paid, owned, and earned channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
Managing brand marketing budgets by tracking campaign spend, reconciling actuals against plan, and overseeing external vendor and agency costs.
Cross‑Functional Partnership Serving as the primary marketing liaison for Merchandising teams by translating product strategies into actionable, insight‑driven marketing plans.
Building strong cross‑functional partnerships by connecting Marketing with Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Digital, Store Operations, and other corporate teams to align priorities, gather input, and drive cohesive execution.
Representing Marketing in cross‑functional planning meetings by identifying opportunities, communicating priorities, and proactively flagging risks to campaign timelines or brand integrity.
Brand Strategy & Content Developing and championing custom marketing and advertising strategies for assigned areas of the business while ensuring alignment with overall brand positioning.
Ensuring brand consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all communications, campaigns, and partner initiatives.
Championing omnichannel brand consistency by delivering a cohesive Floor & Decor brand experience across in‑store, digital, social, email, and print channels while connecting physical store experiences with digital storytelling.
Product & Customer Understanding Translating product and category expertise into clear, compelling positioning and messaging that highlights customer value and supports project‑based purchasing decisions.
Maintaining a deep understanding of Floor & Decor’s product portfolio, categories, and assortment to serve as a strategic partner to Merchandising.
Building a strong understanding of the Floor & Decor customer, including their mindset, purchase journey, and sources of inspiration, to inform campaign strategy, content development, and messaging across customer segments.
Performance & Insights Measuring and reporting on the performance of brand marketing campaigns by evaluating KPIs, ROI, and opportunities for optimization.
Monitoring industry trends and competitive activity to identify relevant insights and marketing best practices.
Using performance data and customer insights to continuously refine marketing strategies and improve content effectiveness.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Brand, Content, or Integrated Marketing, with at least 1–2 years in a people‑management or team‑lead capacity.
Proven ability to develop and manage a marketing communications calendar across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Experience serving as a cross‑functional marketing partner, ideally within a retail, e‑commerce, or product‑driven organization.
Strong strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling marketing strategies.
Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong project management skills; comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience working with internal creative teams and an eye for on‑brand, high‑quality creative execution.
Demonstrated omnichannel marketing experience, connecting in‑store and digital brand touchpoints to drive a seamless customer experience.
Experience managing external agency or vendor relationships and overseeing campaign budgets.
Comfort presenting to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Retail or specialty retail marketing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to brand excellence.
Working Conditions Limited travel required, including air and car travel. The employee may be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level is typically quiet to moderate.
Physical/Sensory Requirements Sedentary work – ability to exert 10–20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Primarily seated, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
