OVERVIEW
AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified Social Services Director to join our family. The primary purpose of your job is to be responsible for providing services to respond to the emotional needs of the residents and their families. You will also assist with resident admissions and the referral process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement community outreach strategies to promote services, programs, and events.
Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, local agencies, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate care plans and support services for residents.
Provide supervisory guidance to social work staff.
Facilitate resident and family education and support groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
Two years of experience working in geriatrics.
Valid driver’s license.
Licensure required.
Previous experience with Nursing Homes preferred.
