Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled UiPath Solution Architect / Senior Automation Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise automation solutions. This role requires strong hands‑on experience in UiPath development combined with solution architecture expertise to design scalable, secure, and maintainable automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, participate in architecture and design discussions, and work closely with business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality automation solutions. This is a hands‑on technical role where the individual will contribute to development while driving best practices, solution design, and overall delivery excellence.

What you will do at Sogeti

Analyze business requirements and design scalable, reusable, and maintainable UiPath automation solutions.

Define solution architecture, technical approach, and development standards for automation initiatives.

Design reusable frameworks, components, and libraries to improve development efficiency.

Evaluate technical challenges and recommend optimal automation approaches.

Ensure solutions follow enterprise architecture, security, and coding standards.

Hands‑on Development

Build reusable workflows, libraries, and custom components.

Integrate UiPath solutions with APIs, databases, web services, and enterprise applications.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical resolutions.

Optimize automation performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Technical Leadership

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to UiPath developers.

Conduct design reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.

Promote reusable design patterns and coding standards across the development team.

Support developers in resolving technical challenges and implementation issues.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the automation team.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand automation opportunities.

Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Participate in solution discussions, estimation sessions, and technical workshops.

Communicate technical designs, risks, and implementation approaches to stakeholders.

Work closely with offshore teams to ensure successful project execution.

Project Delivery

Participate in end‑to‑end automation delivery from design through deployment and production support.

Ensure automation solutions meet quality, performance, and business expectations.

Assist with production deployments and post‑production support.

Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Contribute to project planning, effort estimation, and technical documentation.

Quality & Best Practices

Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.

Ensure automation solutions are scalable, secure, and resilient.

Maintain technical documentation including Solution Design Documents (SDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDDs), deployment guides, and operational documentation.

Continuously evaluate new UiPath features and recommend adoption where appropriate.

What you will bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6 years of hands‑on UiPath development experience.

Strong experience designing and developing enterprise‑scale UiPath automation solutions.

Expert knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, Document Understanding, Integration Services, and Agentic Automation capabilities.

Strong experience developing reusable frameworks, libraries, and components.

Experience integrating UiPath with REST APIs, databases, web services, and enterprise applications.

Strong knowledge of exception handling, logging, queue‑based processing, and transaction management.

Experience performing technical design reviews and code reviews.

Proficiency in SQL and .NET/VB.NET.

Working knowledge of Azure and/or AWS is preferred.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams in Agile environments.

UiPath Advanced Developer or Solution Architect certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience implementing Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and AI‑powered automation solutions.

Good understanding of integrating AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI services, OCR, or Machine Learning into automation solutions.

Experience leveraging AI to improve document processing, decision‑making, chatbot integrations, or workflow automation.

Good knowledge of other RPA platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate, or similar automation technologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DevOps practices.

Experience designing reusable enterprise automation frameworks and accelerators.

Strong understanding of automation governance, security, and development best practices.
